Sending handwritten cards just got a whole lot easier.
No amount of IMs, texts, Facebook posts and emails can ever compare to the delight of receiving a handwritten note in this modern age. So, how about you surprise your friends and family this holiday season with a personalized greeting card?
We have recently discovered Punkpost, an app that aims to bring back the magic of physical cards by letting you send personalized, handwritten ones to your friends and loved ones.
Simply select your card (there are more than 40 witty, whimsical designs to choose from), enter your recipient’s name and address, and your message to them. Punkpost then schedules the card and delivery time, and has an artist hand-write the message before mailing it off. For an extra kick, confetti can be included in the card as well. They’ll even post a photo of the finished card to your account, so you’ll know what has been sent.
Punkpost will also automatically reminds users about upcoming holidays in plenty of time to order cards, and the app can be programmed with personal reminders of birthdays, anniversaries and the like.
The first card you send is free and subsequent cards cost US$6 each (22 AED), with US$1 (3.7 AED) extra for international orders.
