FEAST ON HONEST FOOD AT THIS STYLISH CAFE IN DUBAI

Our go-to cafe for all celebrations, meetings, socialising or then even a quick bite during a hectic week is tashas. Dotted around prime locations across the city, it is always an easy and safe choice. Serving delectable dishes that use fresh ingredients the food quality is consistently good. The easy-going elegance and warm hospitality will make you feel right at home.

What we love is that while the brand’s ethos runs through every outlet, each venue is unique, inspired by a place or a time reflected in both the menus and the design of each store, making every tashas experience one of a kind. Each of the restaurants is an unmistakable part of the larger tashas family but each one also has its own distinct personality, something unique that sets it apart. The individual ‘personalities’ have been inspired by different periods in time or cultures from around the world. You can order off the same Classic Menu with all your familiar favourites in every tashas and you’ll find a
different Inspired By menu in each one too.

The Inspired By menus are their take on traditional dishes from the place that inspired each restaurant’s theme. There are tashas that evoke the tapas bars of Spain, the classic bistros of fashionable Paris, the spice-infused kitchens of the Levant, the bustling New York deli, and many more.

We recently went over to the Dubai Marina Mall outlet and were once again greeted by the friendly staff and the stunning decor. The outdoor terrace offers unmatched marina views while the inside boasts an elegant decor.

We adore the tasha salads and went straight for the Texas Salad-corn tossed with feta, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, basil leaves and rocket in a light basil pesto lemon dressing. Satisfying and delicious this dish is the perfect lunchtime meal for one or then the best sharing starter.

For the meat lovers the very generous portion of Steak Tagliatta is a must-try. Consisting of thinly sliced grilled tenderloin tossed with rocket, roasted cherry tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, soya sauce, chilli, garlic, ginger, pine nuts and parmesan shavings and served with fries it is fantastic!

If you are unsure of what to order then the Chicken Prego is a safe bet. Made with two chicken breasts basted with prego sauce, it is served with a Portuguese chopped salad and homemade lays crisps. This flavorful dish is an absolute crowd-pleaser.

It is mandatory to leave space for dessert at tashas. Even if you don’t have much of a sweet tooth a slice of their signature Carrot Cake will leave you very satisfied!

Serving uncomplicated comfort food bursting with flair and imagination, tashas remains our firm favourite.
