Isla Vera now offer the Kobido Face Massage.

What Is KOBIDO Massage?

Kobido face massage is an ancient Japanese technique that covers the face, shoulders and neck. A deep lymphatic drainage and lifting face massage, it is an alternative to many aesthetic medicine treatments. The therapist focuses on the elimination of tension in the face muscles and works to stimulate the deeper layers of the skin, muscles and the nervous system. As it is a deep tissue massage, you can see the results after the first session, but to maintain them, the treatment should be done regularly. This treatment is also very relaxing as the therapist also massages the muscles of the shoulders, neck and head.

Isla Vera, the at-home luxury spa service now offers Kobido Massage in their menu and I was one of the first to try it. As always the staff arrived on time and set up the massage bed, music and ambiance. The treatment is not aggressive and I found myself falling off to sleep throughout the hour.

Using French products, the skin is prepared by cleansing and tonic it before starting the massage. The massage movements are quick but not aggressive. The treatment lasts about 60 minutes and I added on a foot massage for some added relaxation.
