Dubai is finally embracing the local, homegrown café culture and we are beginning to see this whole new genre of fun, new eateries popping up around town. The latest one to open its doors ticks all the right boxes for us, in terms of service, atmosphere, food and location.
Located centrally, this hipster-ish joint is spacious and airy and with an extremely relaxed vibe. Spread over two floors the downstairs is definitely a lot livelier, while upstairs is ideal for a meeting or to get some work done.
The deli style menu has a lot of healthy options including a lamb and quinoa salad that is delicious and definitely worth trying!
There is a range of sandwiches, ideal for a quick bite before you head back to work. The roast chicken and eggplant with halloumi cheese is an interesting combination of flavors and served inside a piping hot piadina (Italian style bread very similar to the paratha, an Indian flatbread our readers know we love).
For desserts the chocolate brownie is moreish and goes perfectly well with a strong cup of latte-for coffee lovers, make note that the barista here definitely knows his blends and the coffee is enough reason to pay them a visit.
