THIS FAMILY-STYLE ARABIC IFTAR HAS A FRENCH TWIST

Experience iftar with a twist at Brasserie Boulud.

Brasserie Boulud by celebrity chef Daniel Boulud brings the true meaning of ‘gastronomie francaise’ to Dubai. As guests walk into Brasserie Boulud, the art deco design theme is apparent throughout the restaurant as modern styles are combined with fine craftsmanship and rich materials. Eyes immediately gravitate to the soaring mirrored ceiling accentuated by modern chandeliers. The classic neutral color palette provides an understated, modern and relaxed atmosphere to dine in. The open kitchen offers a multi-sensory dining experience as the chefs showcase their skills.

This Ramadan, celebrate togetherness with your family and close friends at Brasserie Boulud. The Iftar Soirées embrace the blend of Middle Eastern and French flavors over a family-style set menu.

After breaking the fast with dates, the first course includes a wholesome soup of the day-which was mushroom for us. An explosion of earthy flavors, it was the perfect way to break the fast.

The table was also filled with an array of fresh salads and dips. From carrot hummus, burrata from the UAE, to roasted local beets with avocado topped with an orange dressing.

In the hot appetizers there was an oven baked cheese gougere and mornay sauce along with shawarma bites served with a side of garlic sauce.

It was best to take a break before the main course dishes were brought out. We loved the manti shish barak bites and also the oven baked sea bream but it was the Oman shrimps that really won us over.

We finally finished the meal with a delightful saffron pear tart and warm date pudding.
