The Barnyard is a neighborhood cafe offering a health-centric and nutritious menu in the heart of Dubai Hills. 

Nestled in Dubai Hills, The Barnyard is a bright and airy cafe that we recently popped in for breakfast. The indoor interior is inviting and laptop-friendly. There is outdoor seating for these cloudy days that we are now experiencing on a regular basis.

Focused on health-centric dining with organic, natural, and wholesome foods, the menu offers all-day breakfasts with chia puddings to main courses like char-grilled Shrimp A L’Ancienne, each dish is crafted with the finest ingredients. 

As soon as we sat down we ordered flat white coffees. These were much-needed and totally hit the spot-of course, there was a choice of nut milks and we had picked almond as our choice.

This is probably the first cafe in Dubai that has such a wide selection of chia pudding and oatmeal flavors and with so many options we took our time picking what we wanted. The Banaberry Cado-Chia Almond Pudding, Avocado Puree, Strawberries, Bananas, Crushed Almonds and Honey was what we finally settled on along with Choco PB and B-Choco oatmeal, Raspberry Compote, Bananas, Peanut Butter, Pumpkin Seeds, Sun dried Cranberries and Cacao Nibs. These bowls are colorful, filling and tasty. They are the perfect option for someone who wants a quick bite to fill them up without the guilt of eating unhealthy.

It won’t be a full breakfast without eggs and the Smashed Avocado Toast topped with pomegranate seeds, crushed almonds and baked eggs was just what we needed to kickstart the day.
