The Sparkling Hollywood Brunch is hosted every Friday at Delphine restaurant in the H Hotel.
There is something exciting about the bygone golden era of the 1920’s Hollywood. Â A time when a secret brunch party turned into one of the most decadent events of the century. Â That event which took place on 2 August 1925 is in fact the inspiration for the Sparkling Hollywood Brunch hosted every Friday at the Delphine restaurant. Â Originally from Southern California this fairly new eatery in Dubai, welcomes guests with a red carpet and vintage movie clips being shown over a projector and a live swing band.
The starters are presented in a buffet style-there is plenty of option including fresh ceviche, different types of cheese and freshly baked breads. Â The fresh lobster and oysters are definitely worth trying.
The mains can be ordered directly to the table and the size of each dish is reasonable enough for you to try almost all of them. Â We especially adored the flavourful chicken tonkatsu served in a rich red curry and refreshing radish salad. Â The braised beef rib was cooked to perfection and in fact melted in the mouth. Â The ravioli with bacalao was hearty and one of our absolute favourites.
Although there is a big spread of bite-size desserts, we loved the ice cream cart that allowed us to pick our own toppings  that included sprinkles and chocolate.  Each table was also presented with a candy floss that was hard to resist.
The Sparkling Hollywood Brunch has a very  vibrant vibe and a totally relaxed atmosphere.  It is the perfect way to spend a friday afternoon enjoying live music and freshly cooked food.
