Ethiopian eatery Gursha presents flavours for Ramadan.

Gursha is an authentic family-friendly Ethiopian restaurant located in Palm Jumeirah.  During the Holy Month of Ramadan, they have introduced an Iftar buffet with a wide variety of mouth-watering vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The complete menu is a blend of flavorsome dishes for everyone which will be served throughout the month of Ramadan from sunset to 9:00pm and children are offered a 50% discount!

The delicious buffet comprises of dates and dry fruits to break the fast.  Guests can then feast on healthy and enjoyable bites such as lentil or lamp soup, samosas and spring roll platters served with avocado or labne mitmita dips. One can also make additions to the platters with half grilled chicken marinated with Ethiopian spices and served with Basmati rice, fossolia and doro sauce.

Complimenting to Middle Eastern style, the Ethiopian cuisine also has chickpeas in most of their dishes. Their dishes like BuTicha is a thick chickpea paste made in garlic and olive oil that is commonly consumed in this region. All the dishes are accompanied by a gluten-free sourdough bread called ‘Injera’. The restaurant emphasizes on sharing food with the group in a common platter which has the Injera at the bottom to be eaten with vegetables and meat on top.

The Iftar menu for the holy month of Ramadan is priced at AED 175 with a mix of Arabic and Ethiopian staples including a 50% discount for kids and other discounts on group bookings for 10 or more adults.
