Don’t miss the last few days of the Beach Canteen, a welcome new addition to the Dubai Food Festival that we had been quite eager to check out. It will only remain open until the 8th of March, and will be operating daily from midday to 11.00 pm.
The Beach Canteen is a unique gastronomical concept with 16 pop-up restaurants across 3 different prime beaches in Dubai: Jumeirah 1 Open Beach, Kite Beach and Sunset Beach. We adore the clever design where each of the temporary restaurants is housed inside refurbished cargo containers.
A must-try place, it is ideal for hanging out with friends, chilling with the family and of course for enjoying cuisine from different parts of the world.
The pop-up restaurants each feature a diverse range of cuisines including Emirati, Egyptian, French, Italian, Japanese, Mexican and International all at affordable prices.

Jumeirah 1 Open Beach is where you can experience a festival like atmosphere with arts and crafts, jugglers and face painting as well as communal dining on picnic tables.

La Creparis – French Crepes and Waffles
Lebaneesh – Maneesh with a twist
Roti Mum Cafe – Roti buns and international dishes
Kite Beach has an energetic and creative atmosphere with a set up for graffiti art and table tennis and of course entertainment on the weekends. On Friday mornings free yoga classes will take place from 11 am.
