KORA Conscious Beauty & Longevity Spa is our go-to for all things wellness, but the nail spa deserves a mention too. With a selection of polishes from Essie, Zoya and The GelBottle, there is plenty to choose from, whether you prefer a classic French manicure, a neutral shade or something a little more seasonal.
The space is done up in calming neutral tones, and the atmosphere is deliberately quiet. I love that they encourage us to put our phones away (not an easy ask). I settled in with a cup of chamomile tea while the manicurist got to work. She was thorough with everything from the shaping and cuticles to the application of the gel polish, taking her time rather than rushing through the appointment.
I also opted for a dry shoulder massage at the same time, with the therapist working on those stubborn knots and areas of tension I didn’t even know I had. Between the two treatments, there really was no reason to even think about checking my phone.
The end result was a neat, beautifully finished manicure and an hour of much-needed quiet.
