A CONTEMPORARY DIM SUM INSPIRED BY OLD SHANGHAI

Enjoy the decadent Dim Sum Dynasty weekend brunch at MiMi Mei Fair.

MìMì Meì Faìr in Downtown Dubai blends traditional Chinese flavours with contemporary flair. Drawing inspiration from Empress MìMì’s travels across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore, the menu and ambiance celebrate timeless culinary traditions with a contemporary touch.

The Dim Sum Dynasty Brunch offers a seriously refined selection of thirteen handcrafted dim sum and appetisers. There is something for everyone in this generous, flavourful spread of Chinese favourites, from delicate Har Gau and Chicken Sui Mei to Char Siu Bao, and Chicken Gyoza. There’s plenty more to enjoy, including Radish Puff, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Tempura Green Beans with black truffle and shiitake mushrooms, and the crowd-pleasing MiMi Mei Fair’s signature Wasabi Prawns. The surprise winner is the classic Turnip Cake with a crispy exterior and a soft centre topped with Lao Gan Ma chilli for that extra kick. The pillowy-soft bao bun with Peking Duck in a sweet sauce was one of our favourites.

The dim sum can be reordered until you’ve had your share, which makes it hard to believe there’s still a choice of mains. Pick from Mala Spicy Tofu, Black Bean Chicken or Caramelised Crispy Mandarin Beef, each served with Egg Fried Rice and Crunchy Seasonal Vegetables.

Again, there is no wrong choice, just a matter of preference. We loved the Mala Spicy Tofu, with silky-soft tofu coated in a rich, fiery sauce that paired perfectly with the moreish egg fried rice.

The shared dessert platter of Velvet Berry Cheesecake, Cocoa Praline Delight, Pistachio Mochi and Seasonal Fruits is pure indulgence, but an absolute joy.

This Dim Sum Dynasty Brunch delivers on every level, from the faultless service and rich yet intimate décor to the generous spread of food that keeps on coming.
