It is the aroma of freshly-baked bread that will lure you into Pascal Pepper French Bakery in Dubai. Tucked away inside the Sheraton Four Points on the bustling Sheikh Zayed, Road, this cozy cafe is brightly-lit and has plenty of comfortable seating.
Chef Pascal Tepper is a Master Baker and “Meilleur Ouvrier de France”, who hails from a long tradition of French bakers and still insists on preparing the base ingredients for a wide range of breads and pastries at the hub in rural France. In Dubai, the Bakery serves an an array of delicious cuisine created from Chef Pascal’s own recipes, from breakfast through dinner, early until late.
We arrived right at lunchtime and started with the very comforting Porcini, button, shiitake mushroom cream soup flavoured with truffle oil. A hearty serving this earthy soup is a must-try.
Kale salad with slow cooked prawns, red cabbage, quinoa, beetroot con t,artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, liliput capers, soy & maple syrup vinaigrette. This salad is filling and will leave you craving for more!
If you want something healthy for your main then the low cooked salmon fillet is served over a warm salad of “du puy” lentils, artichoke, mushrooms, balsamic onion, sun dried tomato and baby rocket.
Of course, we couldn’t not try the famous BAVETTE PARISIENNE-thin beef steak topped with herb butter “maitre d hotel”, served with a side of steak fries and mix salad. A very satisfying dish that will transport you straight to Paris.
