We adore everything about La Niña-from the decor to the food, it never fails to impress. Nestled inside one of the busiest spots at DIFC, once you step through the doors of La Niña there is a sense of joy that you immediately feel. The opulent indoor setting is adorned with intricately decorated tiles inspired by the Portuguese art of azulejo, luxurious fabrics, and elegant furniture. Alternatively, the terrace is enveloped by lush greenery and shaded by trees, offering an intimate yet lively ambiance for when the weather is cooler.La Niña’s Business Lunch menu, will be sure to leave your satisfied with its array of tempting options of Iberian and Latino culinary traditions. Priced at AED 115 for two-courses and AED 155 for a three course meal, guests are invited to customise their dining experience from a delightful selection of starters and mains.
We were excited to find some of our favourite dishes on this menu-in fact we were spoilt with options. We were however quick to pick the iconic gambas di ajillo and as always it was exceptionally flavourful. The succulent rabo de toro, a testament to the richness of Iberian culinary heritage was an instant crowd-pleaser. The healthy ensalada La Niña was also part of our first course. A simple but impactful mix of roasted corn, tomato, cojita cheese and pumpkin seeds served on individual lettuce pieces. The yellow-fin tuna tartare was colourful in its presentation and perfect in its texture and taste.
In the mains the albondigas-tender soft meatballs served in a rich and aromatic sauce were hearty and filling. The Piri-Piri chicken made with juicy lime-brined baby chicken, spicy guindilla pepper marinade and coriander cream, was exceptionally good! We will definitely be ordering it again.
