Juan Valdez is a Bogota based coffee shop that has a lovely new outpost in the heart of Jumeirah. Set over two floors, there is plenty of natural light, lots of outdoor seating (for the cooler weather) and a relaxed ambiance. The coffee bar is the main focus on the ground floor and it is fascinating to see the barista at work. Don’t miss the stunning colourful mural upstairs that offers a glimpse of the vibrant Colombian culture to Dubai.
For those with a little more time can enjoy their breakfast menu which includes eggs cooked in different manners and other specialities like Acai bowls. The guacamole toast with poached eggs is a wholesome and healthy option. For a little more morning indulgence the burrata on sourdough toast is deliciously rich and filling.
Of course, coffee is the highlight here and you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold beverages made with handpicked beans meticulously sourced from Colombia’s high-altitude regions, ensuring a smooth, full-bodied taste with a hint of nutty and chocolate undertones.
