Zuma Dubai DIFC

The Baikingu Brunch takes places every Friday at Zuma in Dubai.

Zuma is of course the immensely popular contemporary Japanese food destination in Dubai that continues to wow the crowds on a daily basis. As fans of the restaurant, we were delighted to be invited for a review of their newly relaunched Baikingu Brunch taking place every Friday afternoon.

Zuma Dubai DIFCA fancy affair be prepared to dress up and head on over. The crowd is stylish and you will definitely feel like you are dining with the A-listers in town. The atmosphere is relaxed but there is a special buzz in the air.

The buffet-style food is an elaborate spread across the sushi tables, including all our personal favorite sushi, sashmi and oysters. For those who don’t fancy raw food can head straight to the fiery robata grill area where there is an endless selection of delectable hot starters, skewers, sliders and vegetables. Everything is prepared meticulously, has an innovative twist and is bursting with flavor.

The highlights include the jumbo tiger prawn with yuzu pepper, the celebrated miso black cod, and even the humble mushroom rice.

Zuma Dubai The grand finale is a decadent dessert platter that includes exotic fruits, green tea and banana cake served with coconut ice cream and of course the special chocolate fondant with vanilla bean ice cream.

Surprisingly kids are also welcome and for the duration of the brunch the private dining room upstairs is turned into a playroom with attentive babysitters. There is an array of rice and noodle dishes for the children and if that doesn’t suit their palette the servers will happily bring in a more kid-friendly meal.

Zuma is an out-and-out success story that continues to impress with its food, ambience and décor. The Baikingu Brunch is top-notch and truly luxurious, albeit expensive, it is worth experiencing at least once.
