A family-friendly Friday brunch at Boulevard Kitchen
The family that dines together, stays together! DC team has been invited to try the latest family-friendly Friday brunch experience at Boulevard Kitchen at Manzil Downtown Dubai.
We absolutely love the décor of this charming boutique hotel (fully renovated in 2015) right on the boulevard in Downtown Dubai. Boulevard Kitchen, is divided into three distinct areas – a café with a newly launched outdoor terrace that is situated directly on the Downtown boulevard, a formal dining area, and a casual deli bar. Combining elements of Arabic design with contemporary flair, the restaurant has Arabesque geometric patterns and authentic white wooden wall partitions. Exquisite!
The food at the brunch is focused on Levantine cuisine and very ‘meaty” with live cook stations. Although they are some options of seafood, it is quite limited. Our favorites dishes were the mains-the starters were decent but really not that memorable. The brunch is coupled with the best in children’s entertainment, a supervised corner with arts and crafts, to occupy the little ones. Ladies can also get henna applied to their arms.
The dessert is in a lovely room overlooking the Burj Khalifa. The choice is excellent and combines middles eastern and western cakes beautifully displayed on cake stands across the room.
The Boulevard Kitchen ensures that just because you have children doesn’t mean you miss one of Dubai’s most loved traditions, the Friday brunch.
