Gaucho offers impeccably prepared dishes in a luxurious contemporary setting.
The setting of Gaucho, a London-based chain serving authentic Argentinian food is formal yet contemporary. The lighting is dim and the inviting décor features plenty of leather.
We were extended an invitation to experience their dinner menu. Although we went in assuming there would be only meat on the menu, there were plenty of other dishes including ceviche, empanadas, salads and tiridatos.
The meal began with the server introducing us to the five main cuts of meat and gave us an overview of how they are best cooked.
Our meal began with a fresh and flavourful salmon ceviche (65 AED) made with ají amarillo, yellow pepper, fresh mango and coriander. For the starters we also ordered slow-cooked chicken empanadas (25 AED with tomatoes, onion, chilli, smoked paprika and fresh basil.
The Churrasco de Lomo (280 AED) a spiral cut, marinated for 48 hours in garlic, parsley and olive oil came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. It was Lean and tender with a delicate flavour that we thoroughly enjoyed with a side of homemade fries.
The Rib-eye (300 AED) was delicately marbled throughout and had a superb, full bodied flavour that we enjoyed with a side of mushroom sauce.
The savoury dishes all tasted impeccable and we finished every bite but it was the Dulche de Leche fondant (50 AED) that we were most anxious to try. Made with amaretto curd, chocolate crumble, vanilla ice cream and fresh fruits, we can’t wait to order it again.
Gaucho Dubai is the ideal place for entertaining guests when you want something fancy, classy and impressive.
