TURN YOUR HAND TO EMBROIDERY

If you have always loved craft and wished you had the skill to create beautiful homemade items for your home or wardrobe, a workshop in Dubai this weekend is your chance to turn your hand to the traditional skills of embroidery.

The workshop – taking place this Saturday 18^th May at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach – is run by French embroiderer Elisabeth Rolleau, who studied embroidery at the haute couture and interior design school Lesage in Paris. She has worked with Hermes, Christian Dior, Chanel, Azzaro, to name just a few.

The workshop will make use of ribbons to create motifs of Buds, Roses, and styled flowers to get your hands used to the techniques of embroidery.
