Neighbors is a welcome new addition to the café scene in Dubai.
We stumbled upon Neighbors on Instagram and stopped by there the very next morning. Opening bright and early at 7:30 am, it is the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast and the first cup of coffee.
It was the smell of their freshly baked bread that lured us in-they sell the most delicious loaves of sourdough. The breakfast menu is quite extensive and has a large variation of dishes-acai bowls, smashed avo and even Turkish eggs. There are also three different types of French toast, which we have made a mental note to try next time. Since we were in a bit of a rush and also drooling over the thought of bread, we opted for the bread basket and of course, Chemex coffee.
We were served three different types of lightly buttered sourdough bread with a homemade peanut butter, berry compote and dukkah spice mix. The bread dipped in the spicy dukkah mix and the chilli olive oil was the winning combination for us.
The coffee beans are sourced from Seven Fortunes. one of our favorite roasters in town. The result was a clean, light and flavourful cup that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Neighbors is possibly our new favoruite breakfast spot in Dubai.
