Izu Burger offers the most memorable and satisfying meat-between-bread feast in Dubai!
Chef Izu knows his food and so do the team at his brand new venture Izu Burger in Box Park. The casual eatery has a no-fuss retro style to it. The menu is carefully crafted and features a selection of signature beef and chicken burgers. Reimagining the classic burger experience, the restaurant diverges from using conventional ground beef patties and uses only premium ingredients such as Australian Angus, Wagyu sliced rib-eye and fluffy potato buns to elevate its sandwiches to perfection.
We went straight for the juicy Wagyu beef potato bun, featuring sliced Wagyu rib-eye, Izu BBQ sauce, tartar, Emmenthal and potato bun. If you appreciate high-quality meat in your burger then trust us when we tell you this one is top-notch and you will be swooning over it from the first bite. It also pairs perfectly with the indulgent truffle fries.
From the Chicken burger selection we picked the spicy chicken, featuring buttermilk cornfed chicken glazed with a sriracha maple sauce, spicy dust, coleslaw and spicy mayo between a potato bun. With the perfect sauce to bun ratio, this is a mouth-watering mountain that is packed full of flavour in every bite. Oh, and we accompanied it with Izu spice blend fries that offer that salty umami kick.
Veggies will not miss out on the fun as they have plenty of options that include the vegan burger showcasing a grilled Portobello mushroom with fermented chili sauce, tomato compote, vegan sauce and crispy fried onions on a vegan bun. Meanwhile, vegetarians can indulge in the vegetarian burger featuring layers of BBQ Portobello mushroom, jalapeño mayo, crispy fried onion, and scarmorza on a potato bun.
Complementing the mains are a range of delicious side dishes, including freshly-made Izu fries seasoned with Izu spice blend and decadent truffle fries.
By this time we were over counting calories and went straight for the creamy and luscious Hokkaido ice cream to end this fantastic meal.
