RSVP Restaurant offers modern French cuisine.
Enjoying a hearty breakfast on the weekend is a ritual we love. An invitation from RSVP restaurant in Boxpark to try out their newly launched weekend breakfast menu was something that we immediately accepted.
This chic French restaurant has a gorgeous decor and it definitely has that quintessential French bistro vibe. Large art-deco style glass adorned walls, marble tabletops, painting on the ceiling-all these elements come together perfectly and make it cozy and stylish. There is also a lovely outdoor terrace that is sheltered away from the busy view and noise of Al Wasl Road because of the lush green plants and the music in the background.
From the basket of viennoiseries to pain perdu, the selection is superb. We sipped our strong cups of coffee till our grand spread arrived. The scrambled eggs with generous shavings of truffle were the first to arrive-luscious and decadent this dish is one we will keep going back for. Next was the croque au saumon-smoked salmon sandwiched between a homemade loaf of bread and layered with béchamel sauce and comte cheese. Perfectly toasted and exploding with different textures and flavor, we were quick to polish it off.
The cheese platter was the chef’s selection of different types of cheese accompanied with an artisanal jam. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of trying each cheese and slowly made our way through the entire selection, not leaving anything behind!
This was all super filling but the staff urged us to try at least one dessert. It didn’t take much to convince us and we picked the waffles that were served with cream Chantilly and chocolate sauce. Super light and airy, we can’t emphasize enough how these were possibly the best waffles we have had in Dubai!
RSVP is a charming restaurant inspired by old-world French traditions and this weekend breakfast is exquisite.
RSVP restaurant is located in BoxPark on Al Wasl Road. Their breakfast takes place on the weekend from 8am-11am.
