When we think of Josette we think 1920s Paris with all the shimmering glamour, exuberant romance, and candy-coloured grandeur one can imagine. The interiors designed by visionary artist Luke Edward Hall are truly magical in every sense of the word-evoking that distinct Parisian ambiance, the decor includes glamorous chandeliers, crisp white tablecloths and refined art on the walls.

Josette is a dining experience unlike any other and offers everything from nightly entertainment celebrating opera to the Moulin Rouge, to a sumptuous menu featuring all of the beloved French brasserie classics reimagined for modern tastes.

Renowned for its refined French cuisine, Josette is celebrating its second year with the introduction of a new menu by the newly appointed Head Chef Rory Duncan and his talented culinary team. Together, the team has crafted a new menu that combines traditional French cooking with global influences, heralding a new era of culinary excellence at Josette.

We started with the Crevettes grilles (grilled prawns)-a plate of succulent prawns in a delicious garlicky marinade that we scooped up with the homemade bread. The Grilled octopus salad with cauliflower textures was cooked to perfection and a light dish perfect for these warm summer days.

In the mains the classic pan-fried Seabass was served with wild mushrooms and gratinated hollandaise sauce-a combination of flavours and textures that were unexpected but worked well together.

The Seared Label Rouge chicken was served on top of toasted brioche, roasted eggplant and bell pepper and a generous amount of chicken jus. The tender chicken combined with the vegetables and bread made it a hearty and very satisfying dish that was an unbeatable favourite on our table.

A celebration of the evolution of French cuisine, Josette has taken classic French cooking and reimagined it with the use of non-traditional ingredients. Offering one of the most French, Dubai experiences it truly celebrates joie de vie.
