The Le Petit Dinner menu brings together French brasserie favourites with a contemporary touch. Choose from a thoughtfully curated selection of two starters, one main and one dessert, showcasing refined flavours and timeless classics.
We started with the Crevettes Grillées (grilled prawns), a plate of succulent prawns in a fragrant garlic marinade that we happily scooped up with the homemade bread. The signature Salade de Poulpe is simple yet refined: perfectly grilled octopus served with fondant potato, a hint of citrus and finished with cauliflower. Light and fresh, it is the kind of dish made for warm summer days.
The Escargot de Josette is a French classic with a refined twist. Six snails are served hot in the shell with silky almond, garlic and parsley butter, alongside perfectly toasted brioche for soaking up every last spoonful.
The mains showcase the same effortless approach to French brasserie cooking. The Provençal sea bream is light and fragrant, while the fresh tomato rigatoni keeps things simple with parmesan and basil. For something more indulgent, the grilled ribeye comes with a choice of Josette, peppercorn or Béarnaise sauce, and the slow cooked short rib is rich and tender. There are no wrong choices here. Every dish is prepared with precision, but the grilled ribeye is the standout and an easy crowd pleaser.
Dessert offers a difficult choice between three French favourites. There are chocolate profiteroles drizzled with an orange and dark chocolate sauce, warm date madeleines served with toffee sauce and coffee ice cream, and a classic vanilla crème brûlée. If we had to pick just one, make it the crème brûlée. Crack through the perfectly caramelised top to reveal a silky vanilla custard beneath-it’s the perfect way to end the meal.
