Cocktail Kitchen served modern Mediterranean inspired dishes in a relaxed setting.
There is a new wave of indie eateries in Jumeirah Lake Towers and Cocktail Kitchen is the latest one to join the party. A vast space, it has a minimalistic design aesthetic with a few pops of color on the walls.
Serving modern Mediterranean inspired dishes, the lunch menu is concise and simple. We began with salads, the Duck & Prunes (65 AED) served with green lentils, mixed leaf and radicchio came with a delicious homemade dressing. The Winter Gardens & Seed (45 AED) salad was served with glazed pumpkin, goat cheese, baby spinach and a generous topping of seeds. A well-dressed and tasty bowl, we scooped up every last bite.
For our mains we ordered the Fish in a Bag (55 AED). A delicate and moist piece of seabream cooked in butter and served with new potatoes and zucchini.
Cocktail Kitchen has a noticeable fondness for serving light dishes with fresh ingredients. The menu evokes the distinct flavors and colors of the Med-it is definitely a place we will be returning to as there is so much more on the menu that we would love to try.
