Al Mullah located in Satwa on 2nd December Street serves the best shawarmas in Dubai at an affordable price.

Funds can sometimes be a little tight with all the eating out we do in Dubai.  So, why not save money this weekend, by opting for tasty, simple, and very affordable shawarmas for just 7 AED a head?

Head over to the relaxed Satwa café Al Mullah (don’t be put off by the location, we found it very easily) and feast on the best shawarmas you’ve tasted in a long time. The tightly wrapped Arabic bread sandwiches are bursting at the seams with grilled meat (either chicken or lamb shaved off a rotating grill – we recommend the chicken for its flavour and moist texture), sharp pickles, and creamy garlic sauce.

The neon green sign is hard to miss, making Al Mullah easy to locate – and  the atmosphere on the street is electric and alive at night.  The café, established 30 years ago, is an institution – it’s definitely a place you should experience at least once if you are an expat in Dubai. With  no-fuss tables and chairs sprawled out on the pavement (there’s limited seating inside), Al Mullah is open from 4pm until the wee hours of the morning.
