Chival is now open at La Ville Hotel and Suites City Walk, Dubai.
Located inside the distinctive low rise La Ville Hotel and Suites City Walk, Chival is a chic and cosmopolitan space and the décor is light and airy, complete with an in-house bakery, herbal bar and outdoor seating area on the terrace.
We were invited to kick start our day with an invitation for breakfast. There is the option of a buffet spread (120 AED per person) or then a la carte breakfast menu featuring beef tartare served with poached organic eggs, acai and goji bowls, fresh pastries from the bakery and a selection of cheese and cold cuts.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Jump Start Salad (48 AED)-organic poached eggs served with fresh greens, avocado, goats cheese, figs and topped with roasted seeds and a yogurt dressing.
As fans of Shakshouka (49 AED) we had to try their version and it was the whole roasted eggplant that made it stand out from its other contenders in the city.
Offering a global artisanal menu that celebrates sustainability wherever possible, and focuses on healthy and thoughtfully sourced products, we have already bookmarked it as our go-to breakfast spot.
