Le Classique offers diners a chance to enjoy an outdoor dinner in Dubai with views of the golf course and beyond.
We were recently invited to try out the newly revamped menu of Le Classique, a fine-dining French restaurant located at the Emirates Golf Club. Â Since, the weather is finally cooling down and we want to be outdoors, we were delighted to be dining on the terrace of this quintessential French restaurant.
Although the indoors has an elegant decor, we loved the outdoor setting far more. Â The view of the lush green golf course lit up with flood lights and the skyscrapers of Dubai Marina is really unique.
The quintessential French menu uses traditional French ingredients and techniques with a modern twist.  We began with  a tomato soup with lime and zest and pesto with a piece of Burrata placed in the centre-creamy and indulgent, it totally won us over (80 AED).  The Russian king crab and creamy yuzu was light and flavourful (110 AED).
In the mains the Wagyu beef filet served with seared foie gras and creamy polenta (330 AED) was a generous serving and a hearty dish that combined a simple cooking technique with good quality ingredients.
For dessert the light and airy choux pastry filled with vanilla cream and raspberry (55 AED) definitely hit all the right spots.
Service is attentive and the overall experience is sophisticated but it is really the outdoor terrace at Le Classique that has us impressed.
