La Taqueria in Business Bay can satisfy all your Mexican food cravings.
La Taqueria is a family-run business that brings an authentic slice of the taqueria right here to Dubai. The canteen-style décor is (very) simple and there is a traditional Mexican vibe.
The menu ranges from tacos and fajitas to enchiladas and snacks such as a selection of shrimp and fish ceviche plates. The guacamole is fresh and flavourful and the tortilla chips with homemade sauces including mole can keep you busy till the mains arrive.
The fish (20 AED) and shrimp (25 AED) ceviche are both feisty and refreshing.
The tacos are delicious and so loaded that they can be difficult to pick up (but we aren’t complaining!). The barrbacoa (45 AED) ones are outstanding and we prefer them with corn tortillas although there is also an option for flour. If you are vegetarian, don’t fret because there is also a wild mushroom option.
Don’t forget to end the meal with a slice of the pastel impossible cake (20 AED) and Mexican coffee.
If you are looking for authentic Mexican street food then La Taqueria is the real deal.
