Fümé at Pier7 offers a mighty breakfast menu; served throughout the week from 9AM-12 noon and till 2pm on weekend! Yes, you can now roll out of bed late and still not miss a good pan of eggs on the weekend.
The décor is relaxed and comfortable and the wide menu selection includes popular breakfast favourites such as pain perdu, eggs, waffles, freshly squeezed juices and more.
We couldn’t help but order the legendary North African cooked egg and vegetable dish – ‘Shakshouka’, (44 AED) poached eggs, topped with avocado, creamy labneh and sourdough.
We also tried the highly recommended ‘The Fümé Pan’ (78 AED) – fried eggs, real hash browns, mushrooms, homemade veal and chicken sausages, smoked veal bacon, slow roasted tomatoes and sourdough to mop up.
If you are watching your weight then your breakfast options will be Muesli with almond milk, full-fat milk or yoghurt accompanied by bananas and strawberries or Organic Granola with yoghurt, fresh berries and honeycomb.
Overall the Fume offers that satisfying pick-me-up morning fuel to kick start the day.
