A special set menu at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in the Address Dubai Marina worth booking for Valentine’s Day
Whether Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year or the most corny one, it deserves to be celebrated in style and tradition with your other half or with a friend. After all, why shouldn’t single people treat themselves at Valentine’s Day too?
For Valentine’s Day, Ruth’s Chris Steak House in the Address Dubai Marina is offering a special four-course set menu to share with each course paired with a glass of exclusive grape. This fine American Steak house with a view over the Marina is actually well catered for this day as it has a very intimate atmosphere, dimmed lights and a Jazz pianist in the bar area. Just the kind of ambience to put you in a serene mood.
We had the chance to experience a sneak peek of the menu. A real feast that started with three sharing dishes of Truffle Carpaccio, Fin De Claire Oysters No 2 and Ruth’s Chris’s classic Crab Shack, that was followed by the second course, a delicate Scallop & Lemon Risotto – good but slightly too bland for our taste.
The main, succulent corn fed prime beef paired with a cold-water lobster tail, really won us. The meat is extremely tender and cooked to perfection with the right portion.
There is also a lighter option with Tomato basil halibut served over ratatouille vegetables. In the side dishes guests can chose from Truffle Mashed Potato, Grilled Asparagus or Cremini Mushrooms.
To complete the dining experience for desert, a heart shaped cheesecake with Fresh Berries to share is brought to the table. The cherry on the cake is a single rose given to ladies at the end of meal. Romantic!
The diner is pricey (AED 995 per couple including paired beverages) but definitely worth it for what is offered. Ruth’s Chris Steak house is a safe bet: the service is very good, there is a consistency with the quality and food and it is one of the ultimate places in Dubai when you crave good meat.
