Tashas Group is set to unveil two exclusive lunch events featuring a collaboration between CEO and Founder Natasha Sideris and renowned author and chef, Tessa Kiros. Taking place on 20th November at Avli by tashas and 22nd November at Flamingo Room by tashas, each event will offer a unique opportunity for guests to experience a heart-to-heart conversation between longtime friends Natasha and Tessa. Taking place from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm at AED 380 per person, guests will savour Tessa’s soulful, culturally rich recipes in settings that beautifully showcase her signature fusion of tradition, heritage, and creativity.
The first lunch at Avli by tashas will offer guests a sharing-style menu with signature recipes from Tessa’s acclaimed cookbook, Food From Many Greek Kitchens. The event will celebrate Tessa’s food journey, bringing her unique flair to life in a setting that reflects the charm and warmth of rustic Mediterranean courtyards.
Following the lunch at Avli, Tessa Kiros will host another special lunch at Flamingo Room Dubai. Here, guests can enjoy various sharing-style dishes featuring signature recipes from her celebrated cookbook, Falling Cloudberries. This event will showcase Tessa’s talent for blending classic cooking styles with personal narratives, perfectly complementing Flamingo Room’s mix of old-school charm and modern flair. Guests at both lunches will have the opportunity to purchase Tessa’s latest release, Now & Then—a unique half-memoir and half-timeless collection of recipes for always. Tessa will also be on hand to personally sign purchased copies upon request.
Tessa Kiros and Natasha Sideris share a longstanding friendship that began during their school days at Saheti School in Johannesburg, South Africa. Both driven by creativity and a deep love for food, their connection has spanned years and continents, blending shared experiences with individual journeys in the world of food, their friendship brings them together once again to share their passion for food and culture in these exclusive, one-day events at Avli and Flamingo Room Dubai.
Reflecting on this collaboration, Tessa says, “We have always bonded over our diverse heritages. Recognising the similarities between my Greek-Cypriot and Finnish heritage and Natasha’s Greek-South African heritage allowed us to form a friendship based on the foundation and love of food. This led to a wonderful partnership that happened naturally. I’ve always admired Natasha’s energy, kindness, and way of acknowledging and uplifting others for their strengths and talents. She brings a sense of purpose to everything she does, and I’m excited to be part of it.”
