The women come from a conservative society and are given flexibility to work in community spaces or in the comfort of their own homes. This allows them to continue their role as housewives, mothers, and daughters, yet earn a substantial income.
Each bag is truly unique, depicting inspirational stories from the women that worked on them – from their earliest memories, to their current life and relationships, from simple prayers, to their hopes and dreams for the future.
Take your pick from oversized shoulder bags, smaller evening bags, bright hues and neutral colours – there really is something for everyone and every lifestyle. The colours, styles, and designs are the perfect balance of tradition and modernity, the East and West.
