For many months out of the year, the idea of camping in the UAE seems impossible. But, when the cooler weather kicks in the fall, it’s an ideal time to start planning for a family camping trip. Fathers and Kids Camping Middle East has been around for years as a social group which specializes in planning such trips. It’s mainly designed for fathers and their children, however some trips during the year are open to mums as well. The idea is to bring families together and enable kids to enjoy some outdoor fun, while also learning about nature and important survival skills.Â
As it’s a members-only group, you will have to register and pay an annual fee of  500AED, which goes towards trip expenses, however, you will be gaining a memorable  and unique experience across so many interesting and beautiful places. Every year, the group plans beach, wadi, desert and mountain camping trips in the UAE and Oman. Â
The group also hosts a number of social events during the year, where prospective campers can learn about the organization and their event schedule and meet new people that share the same passion for camping.
