Wandr is a Dubai-born culinary concept dedicated to redefining fast food through the Slow Food Movement.

The Wandr pop-up truck in Dubai has a fan following and now they have opened their first brick-and-mortar outlet in JLT. Serving fast-casual food that is healthy and nutritious, Wandr is all about convenience without sacrificing nutrition, authenticity, or flavour. Their menu features globally inspired recipes made with responsibly sourced ingredients and with the opening of this first physical outlet, we can enjoy the food by either heading over there or then ordering it online.

This new space is small but cozy with a modern decor that is uplifting and very Instagrammable. Guests have a full view of the kitchen and it is quite fascinating to see the female Chef from Indonesia and her team working together.

The menu consists of globally-inspired dishes with a Wandr twist. From bowls to wraps, made with the freshest ingredients, everything sounds very appealing.

We picked the super yummy signature Bali baby Wrap that was packed with Malay Chicken, Sambal Merah Sauce, Mixed White and Red Cabbage, Mango, Bean sprouts, Acar, Coriander, Sweet Peanut Dressing, Mint. This is the perfect to-go food that will fill you up and is made with guilt-free ingredients.

From the Farm’s Plate section the Mezza Garden made with Shroowarma Mushroom, Rainbow Rice, Tahini Cabbage, Sweet Potato Hummus, Sourdough Nachos, was an array of ingredients that we never imagined could work together so wonderfully. This filling platter, is a must-try.

Their new drink menu boasts gut-friendly smoothies inspired by Erewhon (if you know, you know), but without the hefty price tag.

Oh and if you need a caffeine kick, then their flat white is perfect or then you can also try some of their more creative concoctions like rainbow matchas and cinnamon roll lattes.

Wandr continues to redefine fast food with its commitment to the Slow Food Movement.
