We are still lucky to have pleasant weather during the evenings and that is exactly why we picked iftar at Maui. This beachside restaurant is offering a lavish Arabic iftar spread with seating on their outdoor deck.
Surrounded by palm trees and uninterrupted views of the beach, city and beyond, we love the setting. The iftar menu is ideal for families with something for every taste and age. Start by breaking your fast with dates and laban and then move on to the choice of soups. Next is the vast array of salads including Fattoush and cheese from around the world. Of course, the hot mezzeh are also very tempting and hard to resist.
In the mains there is again an endless choice of Arabic and international dishes. The whole lamb served on top of rice is the star dish. Children will also be happy to find a delicious beef lasagne along with much more. There is a live bbq station, filled with freshly grilled meats served with a moreish garlic sauce.
Finally, the dessert spread is an absolute crowd-pleaser with everything from umm ali to delicate pastries.
The gorgeous setting will make you want to stay for hours on end. We not only adored the food and left with full bellies, we also loved the relaxed ambience, friendly service and overall experience.
