Asma restaurant has been on our list for quite a while. Discreetly situated in Dubai Mall, this eatery has an inviting modern decor. We love the attention to detail and the overall cheerful decor.
This Ramadan, the restaurant is offering a delightful set menu that will leave you satisfied but also eager to return. The breaking of the fast begins with dates and a refreshing glass of laban.
Next is a comforting bowl of lentil salad that we couldn’t help but quickly finish. In the starters and appetizers there is a variety of dishes to pick from. Each of these Middle Eastern classics have been given the Asma twist-making them unique and very tempting.
After much deliberation we picked the musakhan, tabbouleh, chicken liver and spicy potatoes. Each dish was accompanied with sauces and dips and the fresh ingredients and love with which the dishes were made were all obvious through the bold flavors. The portions were all hearty and to be quite frank left us really full!
In the mains we picked the much-talked about beef skewers-tender meat served with tahini sauce, it was moist and exploding with flavors. The meal ends with a sweet treat.
