AKA, the Cyberpunk-inspired Japanese lounge has opened its doors at The Palm Jumeirah. A sophisticated night-life spot, it has an edgy, yet opulent sense of style.
Subtle yet striking, AKA is an intimate yet glamorous destination with an eclectic edge. Rich velvet interiors infuse the space with a dynamic energy, setting the stage for a captivating culinary journey. The animated concept offers an Asian-inspired lounge menu of sharing plates.
The menu is an exquisitely prepared selection of the finest highlights of Japan, encapsulating a bold fusion of contemporary visuals with traditional flavours. Must-try key signature dishes include Ceviche Seabass, a flavourful Sashimi Platter of salmon, tuna, sweet shrimp, smoked eel, uni, and salmon roe, and mouth-watering Miso Black Cod served with wasabi sauce, sakura, lime, and Yuzu Daikon.
Other delightful sharing dishes include, Korean wings that have just the right amount of heat, and truffle fries that will be hard to resist. The duck bao is perfect if you want something different and the salmon from the main course is also delectable.
