Head to this outdoor lounge & restaurant offering an amazing view of Dubai Marina.
If you are looking for a relaxed spot to spend the evening then we know just the place. In fact this isn’t just any other spot, this one not only offers a chilled out lounge setting outdoors but the view is really breathtaking also.
We were recently invited to experience Shades at The Address Dubai Marina. Overlooking the infinity pool, although the vibe is relaxed and the seating is comfortable, the view is stunning.
There is the à la carte menu offering an extensive range of items including salads, pizza, pasta and much more. We tried the tempura prawns (55 AED) served with a side of wasabi mayonnaise that gave them a nice kick.
It was however the grill menu that really caught our attention. There is a live cooking station with all the different meat and fish on display. Our order of the grilled lamb chops (165 AED) was juicy and perfectly cooked meat served with mint chutney.
Upon recommendation from our server we also tried the grilled whole seabream (price depends on weight) and it lived up to our expectations. Both grilled dishes were served with a generous portion of French fries, corn on the cob and a simple Cypriot salad.
We ended the meal with a warm apple crumble with crème anglaise (45 AED) that had just the right amount of sweetness to end a satisfying meal.
Shades is definitely the type of place we would be returning to when we want to unwind with friends after a hectic day. The food is good and the service attentive and the view is truly spectacular.
