Food trucks are a key feature of the Dubai Food Festival 2015.
The food truck revolution has captured the attention of people in Dubai. Â What started off as a pop-up concept, not too long ago, has now evolved into a serious food trend in the UAE.
The Dubai Food Festival 2015, a purely food-focused celebration has also featured a fleet of food trucks. Â Happening throughout February in Dubai, the food trucks are part of the Multicultural Dining & Street Food theme of the Festival.
One of the main highlights of the 23-day long event, spread across the city, is the Food Trucks Convoy traveling to different parts of the city from the 8th – 12th, 15th – 19th, 22nd – 26th of February only.
A celebration of the local homegrown food concepts along with some imported ones, it is a fun way to enjoy lunch outdoors in various locations around Dubai. Â A no-fuss type of dining experience, there is an entire range of different cuisines from the region and across the world. Â Visitors can pick from burgers from Burger Fuel, wraps and sandwiches from Panifico, sugar-free ice cream from Melt, amongst lots of other sweet and savory delights.
The fleet of food trucks will visit the following locations on the following days (8th – 12th, 15th – 19th, 22nd – 26th of February only):
Every Sunday: Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard
Every Monday: Dubai International Academic City (The Higher Colleges of Technology – Dubai Men’s College)
Every Tuesday: JLT Park
Every Wednesday: Dubai Media City
Every Thursday: Dubai Studio City
Event Timings: 11.30am – 4pm
