The Adopt a Turtle Pack (200 AED), by Emirates Wildlife Society and WWF, raises vital funds for a project that tracks 75 endangered hawksbill turtles across the region.
Each pack includes a cuddly soft toy turtle called Nadia, a sticker, photo card with turtle facts, a brochure about the three-year programme, and an adoption certificate.
All funds collected will exclusively go towards the Marine Turtle Conservation Project. There is little data on marine turtles in the region – and to better understand the animals, the project monitors the turtles and identifies their migration patterns, habitats and feeding grounds. This knowledge will help ensure the protection and survival of this species.
