Hamptons Cafe is a place to see and be seen in Jumeirah Islands.

If you want to enjoy breakfast with a view or want to organize an outdoor spot for lunch this weekend, then you may want to pick this spot. Tucked away behind the towers of JLT, this is the second outpost of the charming, seaside themed, Hamptons Café.

Spread over two floors, the indoors has a chic nautical theme and there are also outdoor patios on both floors. The indoors is cozy and if you pick the comfortable lounge seating by the windows, you will feel right at home. Overlooking the lake and lush green gardens, the outside seating is ideal for these cooler months.

Inspired by Hamptons in New York, the decor and menu both reflect the chic and upscale coastal town. The extensive menu includes an all-day breakfast selection that has been curated to stay true to the Hamptonian tradition of hearty and simple.

Our personal favorite is the Ottoman Shakshouka-served with Foul Mudammas, Olives, Mint, Tomato, Cucumber, Feta Cheese, Halloumi Cheese, Labneh, Zaatar Manakish, Onion Manakish and Homemade White Bread.

The mains include everything from risotto to braised lamb shank and tandoori prawns. There is also special kids menu.

Dessert at Hamptons is a serious affair and you don’t want to miss out on it. The sticky date pudding stands out. Their homemade macaroons are light and airy and if you order a coffee, you will get to try it.

A picturesque spot with a relaxed vibe, let us warn you that a meal here does come with a steep price tag.
