Hamptons Cafe offers a covered rooftop terrace with views of the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab.

The summer months stretch on endlessly in Dubai. If you are craving to be outside then we know just the spot. Located on Jumeirah Beach Road, Hamptons Cafe is a casual eatery with a rustic, coastal decor. Spread of three floors, this cozy spot now boasts a covered rooftop terrace with views of the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab.

Although we have often stopped by Hamptons Cafe, we were recently pleasantly surprised to discover that the terrace on top has now been covered with a glass rooftop and windows. We love the greenery hanging from the ceiling and the herb wall on one side.

There is plenty of seating on the top floor and the best part is that it is usually very quiet upstairs. So, while the other two floors get especially busy during lunchtime, the top floor remains quiet and ideal for a working lunch or a catchup session with friends and family.

Hampton Cafe Our personal favourite dish is the refreshing pan-seared tuna salad served avocado, quinoa, cilantro, lime, mint and basil (79 AED). For something a little more filling their vegetable and goat’s cheese quiche (49 AED) is always a safe bet. Make sure you try their coffee as it is comes with a homemade macaroon, to fulfil any sweet cravings.
