Couqley has given the Happy Meal a grown-up spin with its limited-edition Adult Happy Meal, bringing a little nostalgia to an elevated take on the classic burger and fries.
This humble but satisfying meal has been given a serious upgrade, with plenty of labour and precision, high-quality ingredients and close attention to getting the flavours just right.
A set of tall sliders, bigger than we expected, arrives in two versions: classic and truffle brie. The classic is constructed with a thick, juicy patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and raw onions. Perfectly balanced and deeply satisfying.
The Truffle Brie has a little more richness without being overpowering, while the meat still holds onto its flavour. A little messier and a bit more sloppy, you just have to embrace the mess to enjoy it properly.
The pillowy buns are freshly baked and the homemade sauce on the side makes the meal pretty flawless. Served with a very generous serving of shoestring fries that are perfectly seasoned and incredibly moreish.
