Hidemasa offers a Japanese Business Lunch in Dubai for just AED 110.
In another part of DIFC, at the Al-Fattan Currency House, Hidemasa, is a Japanese restaurant run under the expert guidance of acclaimed Michelin-Starred Chef Hidemasa Yamamoto. Blending culinary mastery with authentic Japanese flavours, that they serve in an unhurried and calm atmosphere.
The businesss lunch is available on weekdays and includes a choice of 1 Starter, 1 Main Course, and 1 Dessert, along with Wafu Salad and Miso Soup. Wafu dressing, literally “Japanese-style dressing”, is a vinaigrette-type salad that is light and gets the appetite roaring. The Miso Soup also has its own twist with a variety of mushrooms and a slightly spicy kick to it.
With a menu boasting an impressive selection of 17 dishes to choose from within the main courses and starters, the Business Lunch offers an assortment like no other. You can indulge in tantalising starters like Sake Carpaccio or Lemongrass Chicken Skewers, and then explore main course options such as Prawn & Assorted Vegetable Tempura, Yakitori Donburi, or Spicy Teriyaki Salmon. Whether you crave Aburi Salmon Donburi or Charcoal Grilled Wagyu Beef, they have something to satisfy every palate.
The artfully arranged Sashimi Platter has a selection of some of the freshest fish catch, while the Hamachi Carpaccio made with buttery soft Yellowtail whose flavor is enhanced with the spring onion, ponzu sauce and assorted sprouts.
In the mains the utterly delicious charcoal grilled Wagy Shabu Shabu is served with onions, mushrooms, and a robust Japanese pepper sauce. We had heard chatter that the Black Coz at Hidemasa is possibly the best in the city, so when we saw it on the lunch menu (for an additional cost), we went ahead and ordered it. We can now safely say, that their version is fantastic and worth trying!
We finished off the meal with sorbet-a satisfying end to refined culinary experience that we will surely be back to soon.
Although there is an abundance of Business Lunch options in the area, Chef Hidemasa Yamamoto’s offering is an immersive experience that is exceptionally good!
