A tried and tested affordable option for breakfast in Dubai

We were recently invited to experience the breakfast menu at Clinton Street Baking at City Walk – the popular American eatery from New York. Located in the buzzing City Walk District the terrace offers incredible views of both Burj Khalifa and the Boulevard.

Inside Clinton Street Baking is spacious and has a much cooler vibe than their first branch in Downtown Dubai. The animation mural especially commissioned from American artist Sherry Kuo, depicts Clinton Street around the world and is totally Insta-worthy.

Clinton Street Baking Co offers the best variety of breakfast with eggs cooked in several different styles and has a kid-friendly menu with good options.

We started the breakfast with the Eggs Benedict with Salmon (66 AED) and City Walk Salmon Scramble (house smoked wild Norwegian salmon, scramble eggs fresh dill and toast – 64 AED). Although we did not enjoy the Eggs Benedict (the benedict sauce was too heavy and mayo laden for our taste), we did enjoy the salmon City Walk Salmon Scramble.

To finish up we had Avo on toast (avocado, cherry tomatoes, rocket leaves, tomato vinaigrette on 7 grain toast – 42 AED). The hearty dish is very much like guacamole with chunky pieces of avocado and dressing on it.

We could not resist ordering pancakes to share at the end of the meal (we took the ones with Maple Syrup and Bananas – 55 AED) – fluffy and moreish, they are a must-have.
