A NEW MODERN MEDITERRANEAN BISTRO IN DUBAI MARINA

Elaia boasts modern Mediterranean fare in an elegant setting.

Elaia is a Mediterranean bistro located in the buzzy hotspot, Pier 7. The first thing that caught our attention was the fabulous hand-painted mural of Greek mythology. The decor is elegant and the marina views are unmatched-it is the type of place you want to sit back and relax in.

Offering a fusion of modern Mediterranean cuisine, the menu boasts the freshest seafood, handpicked Mediterranean ingredients, and a range of delightful dishes, all designed to be shared.

The freshly baked breads accompanied with the smoked eggplant melitzanosalata and roasted red pepper tirokafteri dips are a great way to start the meal.

In the small plates the crispy zucchini with tzatziki, prawns saganaki, and manchego croquettes are all interesting and memorable choices.

Onto the larger mains the selection of coastal classics are a pescatarian’s dream-sea bass carpaccio with fennel and citrus, grilled octopus with harissa romesco, and salt-baked red snapper offer elevated takes on Mediterranean coastal classics.

The wood-fired pizzas are an absolute crowd-pleaser, every table around us was enjoying one order, if not more.

We saved space for dessert and ended the meal with a lusciously light and creamy tiramisu yet wonderfully indulgent.

The concept of “steki,” a Greek term for a second home or stomping ground, embodies the spirit of Elaia. Just as a steki is a place for friends and families to gather, Elaia offers a warm and energetic environment, where food and community come together in perfect harmony.
