Trek at Jabal Al Jais:

Head over to Ras Al Khaimah where lies the highest point in the UAE (1,910 m/5,700ft above sea level). The Jebel Jais cluster is one of the coldest areas of the UAE and the views from the mountain are amazing. We recommend making a plan with your friends and then trekking right up to the top. If you want a little more adventure then we hear overnight camping is also a popular option.

A hearty warm soup is exactly what we want in the winter. So, head on over to this quaint cafe, that is also one of the only one in Dubai exclusively serving soups. Price starts from 30 AED for a cup of soup, with four different flavours (Mushroom, Pumpkin, Tomato and Thai Soup)

Huddle around a bonfire:
