WE CAN TELL YOU ABOUT ONE OF THE BEST MUGS OF HOT CHOCOLATE IN DUBAI

Try out real hot chocolate in Dubai at Spill the Bean at Sunset Mall.

The current weather is making us crave a steaming mug of hot chocolate, but we definitely don’t want to spend time making it ourselves.  On our quest to find, a rich and indulgent version, that will take us back to our childhood, we ordered one at Spill the Bean.  Simply described at REAL Hot Chocolate (20 AED), we were very intrigued by its claim.

A generous serving (which can definitely be shared by 2), might be light in its texture, but don’t be fooled by that because the flavour is deep.  Made with real dark chocolate that is melted into steamed milk, there is thankfully no added sugar in it either.  A simple recipe that has just the right balance of bitter and sweet flavour.

We personally recommend that you also order a slice of the gluten-free almond and banana cake (20 AED).  Dense in texture, it is topped with shaved almonds.  Although they usually squeeze a dollop of honey across the slice, we prefer to have ours without any of that extra sweetness.

A perfect combination, the almond and banana cake with the real hot chocolate are worth a try.
