Bussola has now opened in Jumeirah Golf Estates.
When it comes to Italian food in Dubai, Bussola does it best. A classic go-to in Mina Seyahi, they now have a brand new outpost at the Club House in Jumeirah Golf Estates. Reminiscent of its original location, this restaurant also has that laid-back vibe and warm decor. Overlooking the golf course there is something very relaxing and calming about the indoor space. The outdoor terrace looks fabulous and will be ideal for when the weather is slightly cooler.
Offering a traditional menu and delicate Mediterranean flavours, guests can indulge in delectable Italian bites, light meals, Bussola’s signature pizza selection and so much more. While we waited for our first course we nibbled on the irresistible freshly baked bread, tapenade and hummus.
We started with the warm oven baked eggplant parmigiana that was made in a traditional manner. Next was the refreshing seafood salad with cuttle fish, octopus, shrimps, calamari and a light lemon dressing.
We couldn’t possibly not have the seafood risotto that is always a favorite of ours. Made with shrimp, calamari, mussels, baby octopus and topped with fresh parsley this is a really wholesome dish. To balance it out we also tried the black cod with vegetable caponata and dehydrated olives. A lighter main dish that’s ideal for anyone who wants to save space for the desserts.
Feeling indulgent we opted for two sweet treats instead of one. The lemon custard tart with burnt meringue and citrus ice cream had the perfect zing to it but it was the tiramisu that totally stole the show.
This brand new location is ideal for those living in the neighborhood and anyone who frequents the golf course. Guests can rest assured that they have applied the same magic formula to its new outpost, where you’ll find the same relaxed but sleek approach and similar food.
