The Branding Room is a new-ish spa that opened its doors earlier this year. Due to the pandemic things didn’t go as planned, but that has not discouraged the team and they already have a loyal customer base. This salon first came on our radar through the beauty groups we stalk on Facebook, and then when an invitation to review the salon landed in our inbox, we were excited to book in an appointment.
Located in JVC, which may seem like a trek for some of us, this cozy space has an inviting atmosphere and very cozy vibe. The lounge room where the consultation takes place is absolute Hygge at its best! We could have stayed in that spot for the rest of the day, if we had a choice.
The owner Mae, is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to skincare. She begins by sitting down with the client and discussing their skincare regime. The tips and information that she shares are really helpful and to be honest, having a paper and pen handy will help you retain all information she generously shares.
The Branding Room offers a variety of facials that are customized according to the skin type and issues. You can expect manual and machines to be used during the treatment and the therapist talks you through all the steps. The extractions are thorough and slightly uncomfortable, but don’t let that put you off because there is a relaxing massage and other steps that make up for it.
