Glacial Fx® is a clinically proven, customizable cold treatment that uses the power of precision cooling to brighten and stimulate healthy, youthful skin. This multimodality platform uses controlled cooling to downregulate inflammation, accelerate exfoliation, and normalize melanin in the skin.
The facial began with a relaxing double cleanse, followed by the usual steps of exfoliation, a light peel, dermabrasion and then finally a cooling face mask. The machine features customisable therapies using assorted metal plates that cool the skin and these are used at each step. While I did feel the freezing sensation it was in no way unbearable at any point.
The session which lasted about an hour, was nothing short of relaxing thanks to Carolina’s meticulous care and  calm demeanour. For my first session she opted to use the Gloss and Glide, and this gave me an instant luminous glow. The usual skin irritation was also significantly down, and the texture was plump. But the best part was that my skin continued to look this good even a few weeks later!
